Questions
What does the Excel file contain? +
A Transactions sheet (date, description, amount, money in, money out, balance, check number, source file and page) and a Summary sheet with opening and closing balances and the result of the balance check.
Is it safe to convert my bank statement here? +
Your PDF is converted inside your browser and is never uploaded to our servers. We only record how many pages you converted, to count your free allowance.
How do I know nothing was missed? +
Every conversion is balance-checked: the opening balance plus every transaction must equal the closing balance, and each running balance must follow from the one before. If a row is missing or a sign is wrong, the exact spot is highlighted.
Does it work with scanned statements? +
Not yet. It works with the text-based PDFs you download from online banking. Scanned (photographed) statements are coming soon; leave your email on the pricing page to hear first.
